Rahim Shahriari was born on March 1, 1960, in the Shanab Ghazan neighborhood of Tabriz. He is a graduate of Tabriz University and the most famous Turkish-speaking singer. In recent years, he has had many notable concerts.

Family

My grandfather was from the Republic of Azerbaijan and a lover of Azeri music, and after a while they immigrated to Iran. In general, this type of music was in our blood and was inherited by me and my brothers.

In 1994, I was serving in the military, and when I came on leave, I wrote and arranged a song that I called "Ana" (Mother) and gave it to the Iranian Radio and Television as a test. They asked me to go to the Iranian Radio and Television and sing this piece in my own voice. In the end, Reza Razavi arranged this piece and then we recorded it, which was broadcast many times on the Iranian Radio and Television and radio.

This piece was my first work with words, and even now, after 19 years, it is the most popular piece in concerts, and everyone is eager to sing it.

Love for Tabriz and Iran

Tabriz is my homeland. Wherever I am in the world and in whatever situation I am, I love this city. Whenever I leave Tabriz, when I return and the moment the plane lands at Tabriz airport, tears of joy fill my eyes. In my eyes, the best city in the world is Tabriz, of course, this is national pride. When I go abroad, Iran is my Tabriz and my heart is filled with love for it.

While he was only 24 years old, his album "Galmedin" caused a stir in the Azerbaijani music scene at the time. Since then, he has released an average of one album every year.
